Friday night Vassar’s varsity football team travelled to Lakeville and came back with a big win, 41-19. Ricardo Macon scored all 6 of Vassar’s touchdowns on runs of 57, 48, 45, 37, 24 and 1 yards. For the game he had 33 carries for 319 yards which gave him 1019 total rushing yards for the season. He also tied the school record of 36 points scored in a game set by Daniel Smith in 2002. Michel Sander had 3 extra point kicks and Aaron Bartels had a a reception for a two point conversion. Monte Davis had 7 carries for 49 yards and Max Kukulski had 5 for 40. Ricardo was 5 for12 passing for 55 yards. Leading receiver was Max Kukulski with 3 catches for 37 yards. Defensively Max Amend was the leading tackler with 10 and Ethan Dunham, Max Kukulski and Blake Kerr each had 7.
