In the second game of the doubleheader against Frankenmuth, Vassar collected their first win of the season, beating the Eagles 8-4. Vassar jumped out to a big lead early, scoring four runs in each of the first two innings. The Vulcans never looked back and salvaged a doubleheader split on the night.
Max Kukulski received the win on the mound, striking out four batters and allowing four hits over five innings pitched. Kukulski paced the offense again in game two, collecting two hits along with senior, Ricardo Macon, who also had two hits. Four other Vulcans tallied one hit and Addison Hansard stole five bases in the contest.
